The Program Manager (PM)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively functions as the primary point of contact for existing customers with active development and manufacturing programs
Manage and lead projects in a matrixed organization across all functions and other companies when appropriate
Develop evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify and recommend areas for improvement
Manage projects assigned involving complex electro-mechanical medical device development, manufacturing, and servicing
Manage multiple related projects and project interdependencies
Define mutually agreeable KPIs with customers and internal teams and measure program performance and success according to those KPIs
Resolve projects’ higher scope issues; escalate and recommend solutions with a high sense of urgency
Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
Maintain accuracy of billable task against the scope of work to ensure correct and timely customer billing
Balance the role of being a customer advocate with company objectives

Supervisory Responsibilities:
May occasionally supervise other employees
Will work in a matrixed organization to influence and lead employees or teams to meet well-established objectives in alignment with external customers

Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
5-10 years’ experience in project management
Subject matter expert in project management methodologies and when to use them, e.g., waterfall, agile, scrum, critical path, lean, six sigma
Effective collaborative leadership style and experience
Excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities, and creative solution generation
Ability to manage difficult customer communications with a level head, while creating win-win solutions
Must be able to effectively communicate and work closely with various cross-functional groups at multiple locations
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project, SharePoint, Teams
Exceptional organization and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external partners
Ability to analyze trends, make recommendations and implement changes based on KPI Reporting

Preferred Qualifications and Work Experience:
Master’s Degree, in business or related field
Project Management certification from a well-recognized organization
10+ years’ experience in a MedTech environment
10+ years’ experience in customer management and demonstration of successful project management
Experience in contract engineering and manufacturing services
Management experience in leading engineering and manufacturing teams
