Assembles and wires difficult and complex electro-mechanical assemblies
• Builds first piece samples to drawings, operation sheets and engineering documents.
• Assembles complex chassis and modules to prints or operation sheets.
• Perform complex rework on assembly utilizing the current rework procedures and tooling.
• Operate and set up machines
• Fabricates harnesses from wire run lists and operation sheets utilizing harness boards.
• Meets all quality and efficiency standards in accordance with established guidelines.
• Complies with all timekeeping, safety, Electric static discharge, material handling and calibration procedures
• Exchanges factual information about the work requiring diplomacy and tact when interfacing with all levels of personnel.
• Responsible for proper use of assigned office equipment, computers, accessories, and/or confidential computer reports, data, or related company material or product.
• Responsible for proper use of all standard equipment, systems and related accessories
Required Skills:
• High school graduate or GED
• 5+ years’ experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Must pass qualification test upon completion of soldering training
• Certification to Mil-Std, J-Std-001 soldering spec is a job requirement
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens
