Electrical Assembler:
Point to point wiring, schematics, soldering, crimping, etc. Needs good background in intricate electronics wiring. Interested candidates will be required to take a basic schematics test during the interview process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assembles, tests, and repairs assemblies to conformance of established standards. Analyzes process data and reports results to appropriate personnel. May prepare and write technical reports to recommend solutions to technical problems. Analyzes manufacturing requirements, prepares production schedule, and distributes work assignments according to order priorities and worker availability. Plans sequence of assembling according to blueprints, schematics, technical manuals and other specifications. Reviews work orders, product specifications, and technical instructions to determine facility requirements and requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies to meet production goals. Demonstrates work methods, assembly processes, testing for functional operation and inspection sequences. Examines product for defects, utilizing knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards, to ensure conformance to product specification. c Will observe and adhere to all safety rules and practices. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, hazard-free condition, reporting all defective equipment or hazardous conditions. Perform other related duties as required by management Supervisory responsibilities N/A Qualifications: Incumbent must have sound knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly processes. Understanding of electrical and mechanical testing and test equipment. Proficient in the use of schematics, blueprints and diagrams. Understanding of a G.M.P. environment Proficiency based on classification in the use of a variety of test equipment, assembly equipment and hand tools such as: analog & digital multimeters, torque drivers, standard and metric wrenches, socket wrenches, dikes, pliers, wire strippers, drills, heat guns, micrometers, calipers, verniers, digital thermometers, chart recorders, use of personal computer to perform automated testing of equipment and data collection, soldering iron and hand crimp tools . Proficiency based on classification in the use and calibration of hand tools and instruments for measuring, height gages. Must have thorough understanding of Geometric Tolerancing and Material Conditions. Must be capable of reading and interpreting blue prints and work instructions Experience in the use of basic electronics measuring devices VOM and Capacitance meters desired. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
