Successful applicant must possess the necessary skills and abilities to support a full range of tasks including fabrication, disassembly, reassembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical as well as electro-mechanical systems. A high degree of electrical aptitude is required. Applicant must be detail oriented, pay close attention to detail and possess the ability to work well with others. Applicant must have Problem-Solving abilities. Applicant needs to be able to identify issues and make corrective actions.

Duties and Responsibilities: Fabrication of cables, harnesses, sub- assemblies, Junction boxes and control/monitoring panels requiring mechanical assembly. Applicant will perform functional and operational testing of electrical assemblies, troubleshoot, repair, inspect and test electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Maintain workload schedule.

Minimum 5 years of experience working as an Electrical Technician. Demonstrated experience should include the assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical assemblies and electro-mechanical systems as well as experience with soldering and de-soldering components and various types of Mil-Spec connectors and terminations. The qualified candidate must have the ability to interpret, utilize electrical and mechanical drawings, technical manuals and schematics; ability to build electrical assemblies to print; ability to communicate verbally and in writing; ability to work independently. Must be a self-starter. Proficient use of MS Office. Must be eligible for security clearance.

Minimal travel is required for this position.
